Chesterton Academy of Divine Mercy is a new, independent classical high school in the Catholic intellectual tradition which opened in August of 2023, in St. Tammany Parish.

We believe it's not just about educating students to do something, but to be someone. And that someone is a beloved child of God!

We desire our graduates to be fully alive in their faith and drawn to live a good life of virtue and service.  

Inspired by the beauty and richness of our shared Catholic faith, Chesterton Academy of Divine Mercy seeks to accompany young men and women in a journey to become joyful leaders and saints.

By introducing them to great thinkers such as Socrates, Thomas Aquinas and Dante, and by surrounding them with a distinctly Catholic culture, we lead students to choose for themselves the adventure of being a disciple of Christ.

Our Location

• The campus is centrally located in West St. Tammany Parish, only 1.5 mile from the I-12 and Hwy. 21 exit.

• Situated in a thriving area of Covington, this idyllic 5-acre campus is the perfect setting for the Northshore’s first full-time, classical high school.

• We are grateful for the kind invitation and spirit of cooperation of Faith Presbyterian Church on Hwy. 1085 in Covington, that will permit us to call their new, state-of-the-art Children's Building home later this year.
