Spend a Day at Chesterton

  • Prospective students are invited to meet us for mass at St. Peter Church, then spend the day on campus attending classes, meeting the students and faculty and experiencing the Chesterton Difference.

Apply & Enroll

  • The application portal for the 2024 eighth, ninth, and tenth grade classes is open now!

  • Our application process is completed online through TADS. Send an email below and we will be in touch with information about taking the next step.

  • Priority application window closed Friday, December 1st, 2023.

  • Rolling admissions is ongoing and applications will be considered as they are received.

  • Family Interviews (student and parents) scheduled December-January.

  • Classic Learning Test administered January 2024.

Application Requirements:

    • Last two years’ transcript

    • Year-to-date report card(s)

    • 2 years of standardized tests (if available)

An Affordable Education


Tuition & Fees

Chesterton Academy of Divine Mercy is committed to offering an outstanding high school education at an affordable cost to families. Tuition for 2024-25 families is $8250 per student. Book and resource fees are
$750 per student.

Because tuition does not cover the full cost of an education at Chesterton, we ask families to aid in collaborative fundraising efforts throughout the school year.

Placement Exam


All students are required to take a placement exam as part of the application and enrollment process. The placement exam is used as a diagnostic tool to ensure students are placed in the appropriate section of math or Latin, and to help identify areas of academic strength and opportunities for growth.

Applicants will take the placement exam at Chesterton Academy in December 2023 or January 2024.

Chesterton Academy of Divine Mercy administers the Classic Learning Test 8 as its placement exam for incoming 8th and 9th grade students. The placement exam covers:

  • Verbal reasoning skills

  • Grammar and writing skills

  • Quantitative reasoning skills

  • An optional Latin exam is also offered
